So I guess my mother read something online or saw something on TV that inspired her to actually care about car maintenance. This week, she even got an oil change by herself!
Anyway, she finally wants to address the result of a parking garage curb, that occurred about a year ago. It's my job to get the estimate. She wants it fixed even though she's replacing the car in less than a year, not through insurance.
2009 Audi A5 3.2 Quattro
Brilliant Black/Cinnamon Brown
43,000 Miles
It's kind of hard to capture (also the car is filthy), but my guess it it may need a new quarter panel.
Any thoughts?

can you remove the lower rocker panel and reach behind the dent? That basically means the difference between several hundred, and possibly a couple thousand.
paintwork you can do easily, get a little bottle of touchup paint, and apply. The dent depends on if you can approach from behind or not. If you can reach behind it, grab a block of wood and a hammer, and go slowly and gently. In about a half hour of being very slow and gentle, you could have that dent out.
If you can't get behind it, you can try a dent puller, but if it's really bad, you're looking at a lot of labor to cut it out, or fill it, and paint over the fill (not the best option).
